Engineer – Mould Design

Experience : 4 to 6 years
Qualification : Diploma in Tool Design
Bandwidth : Assistant Engineer – Senior Engineer

Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

• Collect the design advice from marketing and a) Ensure the hard \ soft copy of part drawing, b) Ensure the no of cavity details, c). Component material detail, d).Design estimated hours
• Designer should arrange the project file with all design formats, like a).Design input verification sheet, b).Design review sheet.c).Design monitoring chart
• Start the concept design & complete the concept in target date.
• 3D model & part drawing check list will be prepared & ensured the same.
• On receipt of concept approval, core cavity splitting, 2d & 3D detailing of insert, mould base to be started.
• Purchase request ion for Insert material, drawings for mould base quote, standard items to be sent to purchase.
• Complete mould design drawings to be released to planning & soft copy to be saved in Final design folder.
• Design monitoring chart & log entry to be filled every day.
